I have a question about your point at 1:35 because I want to use my battery to power some electronics. Is it just that the inverter needs to be able to sustain the maximum load at that is your point? As in, I just need to measure (or calculate/estimate) my maximum load and make sure my inverter is above that load? For example, I want to run a laptop and projector off my battery which could use 500W - will I need at least a 500W inverter?

Thanks for the video. The leveler looks a little bit too wet. Also the flooring outside the pour area is getting leveler on it. We know it’s not the easiest thing to do. But consistency is key in your mixes. I’m not commenting to be a jerk. Just speaking on what I viewed.

Just opened one I got 2 weeks ago and had the blue liner on the MOSFETS and between the power transformer and case. It's also throttling down to 1/2 power and Ill find out tomorrow if this was the issue. Slightly different inverter (SG500MD) but probably made at same factory and has the same problem.

I'm curious if you tried to download the app. I noticed that the QR code takes you to a Chinese website and not the Play Store (I'm on Android). I'm a little leary about installing and using an app that's not on the Play Store.

We did the mixing work perfectly - everything laid out before, all bags cut and ready to pour, all water measured out. Mixing 330kg in 12 mins: happy with that. But then when I poured it and pulled the screed around the room, something went wrong. I knew where all the low point were. Used a spiked roller as well. I didn’t find out until afterwards but the centre of the room was low and there are whole sections that are higher. The tolerance is 5mm and I’m really upset. I used a float on a pole, but wish I’d used the long 72 inch float to get it bang flat. We used screed tripods and I hoped they would help but actually they just prevented me from using the extra long float. So gutted. Not sure how to resolve it now.

Let me understand why you just don't pull the main switch on your electrical box and then run your grid-tied inverters. I'm wondering if you don't understand that you would have to have a battery to let your grid-tied inverter see electricity flowing, but this has always been possible. Many people run grid-tied inverters off-grid, so is it illegal to pull your main switch?

Is there any installation or is it something you can just put on top of any surface? Literally know nothing about this. Just owning it and asking.

Very informative economic analysis. For a larger than baseline system, it would seem logical to have excess electricity dumped into an existing electric water heater or other electric resistance heat sink. In the 80's I built systems that used hundreds of recycled gallon jugs in a basement closet, heated in the day ( with solar hot air) which cooled at night to heat the house. An electric heater in the closet would do the same, with no solar ductwork costs.

Pulling a vacuum is more than purging air out, it also removes moisture which can cause acid inside the system and cause corrosion inside the system and cause it to erode pipes, cause compressor failures (Bearings going out, windings burn out etc). A good vacuum is a must and any reputable HVAC will always pull a deep vacuum. If they don't then find another company.

The conclusion is solar panels get dehydrated and need to be re-hydrated with a cool beverage to perform optimally. 👍

the same motor model but front version has 2x thicker phase cables. in my bike front cables stay cold but rear cables just melts everything, other cables, shrink tubes, 3d prints and zipties. I realy recomend for you to change cables to the ones with teflon insulation like the original ones but thicker gauge.
